What to write about

Corrections. A price, a spec, or a snow-load rating that has changed. Include the source if you have one, and we will date the fix.
Owner reports. How your kit went up, how it held through winter, and what you would buy again. First-hand experience is the most useful thing you can send.
Photography and licensing. We host images locally and credit every photographer in the caption. If you have shots of a kit we cover, we would like to see them.
Press and editorial. Quotes, interviews, and permission to reproduce our work.
Business and affiliates. Please read our disclosures first.

Sending source material

If you are sending photographs, manuscripts, or scanned documents, include the attribution and license terms so the work can be credited and reused appropriately. We will not publish an image without a clear license and a credit line.

What not to send

We do not run sponsored posts, paid link insertions, or "guest articles" written to place a link. Pitches of that kind are not answered. Everything else gets a reply.
